So, I was wondering if there were any sort of 'Master and Commander'-esque Kirk/Bones fic out there?

And if there isn't... would anyone like to write one? I'll offer to draw art for it.

In no order, we have a rager, a quiet dinner, a pub crawl, a surprise party, a formal event, a restaurant booked in San Francisco, and a special visitor. This also answers the question...how exactly did Jim fall in love with his best friend?

This is a prequel to “Variations on a Theme (Science versus Romance.)” It starts five weeks into the five year mission and ends a month before “Variations."

Except the epilogue, that takes place two weeks after You Can Save that Drama (For Another Day). Sorry, I tried to make it as not confusing as possible.

Yes, this fic is named after the Jackson Five song. The Jackson Five were awesome, and I will love them until the day I die. I'm posting it all in one go, as I've been working on this forever and I want to. There's a kind of slow-build to the Kirk/Bones in this one, so be warned that the first few chapters are very Kirk/Bones friendship intensive and the Jim being in love stuff comes later.

I've read two really amazing Star Trek Big Bang fics that deal with Kirk and Tarsus in the reboot universe and I was wondering if there were any more lurking about out there?

I also wanted to know if there were any fics dealing with the post-mind meld with Prime Spock and Kirk.

Yes I am aware that this is a Kirk-McCoy community, which is why i'm asking here because I think in both cases, McCoy would be the best to handle such issues.
